Manchester United vs Man City Highlights EPL 2013 - Title Decider Derby

TEAMS: Manchester United vs Man City
TIME AND DATE: Monday, 9 April 2013 - 7:45 BST
VENUE: Old Trafford, Manchester

There have been 23 goals in the last 5 Manchester derbies in all competition and who can forget that 6-1 scoreline when City beat United last year at Old Trafford and ultimately City won the title because of that big win. In England League Manchester United are 15 points clear at the top and another win this week will put City's glimmer of hope of a comeback to bed. Like City keeper said couple of weeks ago Manchester United have been a killing mechine.

Man Utd have not been playing so well at time in the league but they still managed to squeez out results and three points after three points have kind of put them in such a good position and they have their one hand on the trophy already. Players Like Robin Van Persie, Carrick and Ferdinand have been the reason United so much clear at top of the table. But what went wrong for City ?

Manchester United 1-2 Manchester City Highlights
51' [0 - 1] J. Milner
59' [1 - 1] V. Kompany (o.g.)
79' [1 - 2] S. Ag├╝ero

Manchester City are still celebrating their league win of last season, and Roberto Mancini admitted that some of his big name players are not showing up in matches, they knocked out of the group stages of the Champions League but still have a chance of silverware as they will be taking on Chelsea in the FA Cup Semifinal. But Jose Mourinho's Chelsea won back to back titles and winning a title is one things defending it next season is a bigger challenge and it shows City were lucky to win the title last season just because United got complacent.

What At Stake at this Manchester Derby ?
I would say just pride nothing else left to play for City while United who had 3-4 bad weeks, they got knocked out of Champions League by Real Madrid while they also suffered a strange defeat unlike them from Chelsea in the FA Cup, after leading 2-0 at halftime of first leg they drew 2-2 in the first leg and lost 1-0 away at Stamford Bridge. They would like to get a win and win it for their fans and make a good end of the season.

Sir Alex Ferguson will welcome back Wayne Rooney in the squad who missed last couple of matches, he will start alongside dutchman Robin Van Persie who have not scored in the last 9 premier league games is asked to just blast on sight of goal by the manager.

Man City on the other hand full squad to choose from and they will be looking to get the similar result at old trafford like last season's 6-1 win.
